Young children who go to Little Ducklings get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds.
OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
OUTDOOR PLAY
Children absolutely need outdoor play. They need the sun, microbes, and to learn and play in nature. No matter what your child needs are, outdoor play is a one size fits all. You can’t go wrong learning outdoors and having fun in the sun!
FREE PLAY
Here at Little Ducklings, children are free to play, explore, and grow on their own. Free play encourages children to make their own decisions, learn their own abilities, and find out their greatest strengths. All while doing something they love, playing!
IMAGINATIVE PLAY
Imaginative play is essentially when children are role playing and are acting out various experiences they may have had or something that is of some interest to them. They are experimenting with decision making on how to behave and are also practising their social skills. Children learn from experience: from what happens around them, from what they see, hear, smell, taste and touch. To absorb those experiences and make sense of the world, they need to be engaged in imaginary play.
